Lana D Hartwig

Lana Hartwig is a PhD student based at the Australian Rivers Institute at Griffith University, Queensland. In Lana's doctoral research she is exploring the factors that influence Aboriginal water access in NSW, with a particular focus on Aboriginal engagement in water markets and water trading. Lana’s research has seen her visit Country, towns and landscapes throughout the NSW portion of the Murray-Darling Basin, and she has had the fortune of meeting and interviewing many passionate, fascinating and interesting people. Lana works under the supervision of Dr Sue Jackson, Dr Natalie Osborne and Dr Cathy Howlett. Lana's undergraduate degree was in environmental sciences, and she has worked previously as a consultant providing stakeholder engagement services and environmental planning support.
